Cancellation Policy
There is a very significant demand for appointments at Spring Therapy and many children have to wait to see a therapist. We endeavor to support families as quickly as possible. We have a cancellation policy in place to help more children be seen and to give us time to book in children on the waiting list into cancellation slots. If you know you will not make your appointment, please let us know so we can give the appointment to somebody else.
Individual sessions: We understand that children can get sick and we give leeway around this. You will receive a reminder text two days in advance of your appointment. Please phone the clinic as soon as you know you will not be able to attend.
If you cancel 24 hours before your appointment you will not be charged.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged 100% of the cost of the appointment.
If you do not show for your appointment we will charge 100% of the appointment cost.
We regret having to doing this but we highly value our therapists' time here at Spring Therapy. We also have people waiting on our waitlists that are desperate for appointments and cancelling on time will enable us to offer appointments to those families in need.
Group Policy
Groups run on a block basis. Payment for groups are taken in full and upfront. Unfortunately there is no pay per session available for groups. Due to the nature of group sessions, if your child cannot attend, the group still continues and this means that there is no option to cancel per child for one session. If your child cannot attend a group session, you will still be charged and issued with a receipt after the session.
Assessments and Screening Booking Policy
To help minimise cancellations and ensure fair access for all families on our waitlist, a non-refundable deposit is required when booking initial services.
A €100 deposit is required for full assessments and a €50 deposit for screenings. Once you receive your initial appointment details, you will then have 7 days to confirm the date and pay the deposit -if you need longer then please talk to us. This policy helps secure your appointment time and allows us to offer availability to other families if a cancellation occurs. We allow one change of appointment date and after this, we will need to put you back on our waitlist for the next available time.
Outstanding Payments Policy
To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, if there are two missed appointments without notice and any outstanding invoices remain unpaid, all future sessions will be cancelled until payments are brought up to date. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Continuous Changing of Appointments Policy
We understand that from time to time, it may be necessary to change or reschedule appointments and we aim to be as flexible and accommodating as possible within our cancellation policy timeframes. However, when appointments are changed or rescheduled on a frequent or ongoing basis, it can impact service continuity and limit our ability to offer appointments to other families. Consistency is an important part of achieving the best outcomes and repeated changes may indicate that the current appointment time or frequency is not the best fit for your family’s needs at this time. If we notice a pattern of frequent rescheduling, we may contact you to review your current booking arrangement and discuss alternative options, such as adjusting appointment times, reducing frequency, or temporarily pausing services until a more suitable schedule can be found.
